Support State Charter Schools during the COVID-19 Pandemic!
Help our schools reach ALL students with distance learning. Help the SCSF respond to schools' changing needs later.
State charter schools are handing out their electronic devices, paying for Internet access, and providing remote tutoring and support for their students. They are offering counseling services, mailing packets, and passing out lunches and bags of food. Our schools are doing whatever they can to ensure that learning continues and their communities are supported. They need our help to meet these needs, especially in rural communities where broadband Internet access is not available.
While state charter schools are responding to immediate needs, they are already thinking ahead to the next school year. Schools are considering blended-learning strategies, combining in-person and online instruction, and making plans to ensure the health and safety of students and faculty when school buildings re-open. They will need to replace damaged and lost electronic devices and re-evalute curriculum. State charter schools typically receive less funding than traditional public schools, and they need our financial support!
Please give generously so that we may stand beside state charter schools and meet their changing needs!
